Info: Intro Handbuilding is a 4 week beginner level pottery class. Each week you will make a different project using a different type of handbuilding technique - Pinch, Slab, Coil and Hybrid. This course is perfect for someone who prefers to work off of the pottery wheel, and wants to expand their ceramics abilities, both functionally and sculpturally!
Additional Details: Four two-hour sessions for $260. All materials are included.
Class size is limited to 16. Participants must be 16 or older.
- Class 1: Pinch pots
- Class 2: Slab building/ Construction
- Class 3: Coil Building Vessels
- Class 4: Hybrid Vessel, using two techniques to create one piece, this will be explained week 1 to get the students thinking about what they want to create!
